Hometown to this Massachusetts Native is Freedom

Alec Travaglia, 18, is a student at the University of Tampa. He, like so many other students, is not native to Florida.

Travaglia’s hometown is North Andover, Massachusetts. A small town outside of Boston. Which he had expressed to me personally, was special to him.

He was very emotional during the interview speaking about his home. He has a deep rooted connection to the geography and the people of the town. Towards the end you will hear him discuss biking through the area and how it made him feel. He adored the freedom that his town gave him, along with the experience growing up.

The subject seemed close to his heart, which is exactly what I wanted to reach. His heart and where his hometown fits inside of it. He was very forth coming in every aspect and you could feel the passion in his voice.

It reminds you of the importance of reflecting and remembering what made you, you. His own emotion made me miss my own home. It is touching and deep, shows a side of Travaglia that is sensitive. I truly enjoyed this interview and the cooperation it took to get to this point.
